About Bangladesh Cable Shilpa Limited
Bangladesh Cable Shilpa Limited, known as BAKESHI, is a state-owned commercial and service-oriented organisation and one of the major industrial establishments of the country. Its principal office and factory are located at the Shiromoni Industrial Area in Khulna-9206, and it also runs a city office in Dhaka. The organisation produces electrical and telecommunication cables, and the current notice recruits officers and employees on a fully permanent basis for both the factory and the Dhaka city office. Salary and Benefits
The pay scales are Grade 5 (Tk 28,160-67,910), Grade 6 (Tk 20,480-49,440), Grade 13 (Tk 11,700-28,290), Grade 14 (Tk 11,440-27,690) and Grade 16 (Tk 10,730-25,970) as per the Bakeshi pay structure 2015.
Along with the basic pay, medical allowance, house rent allowance and tiffin allowance are paid as per government rules.
An annual festival bonus and Baishakhi allowance are also provided.
Depending on the post and the place of posting, the estimated total starting monthly salary may be around Tk 16,500 to Tk 44,000.
Selected candidates are appointed on a fully permanent basis.
Age Limit and Eligibility
For general candidates the age must be between 18 and 35 years as on 01 November 2026.
For the Assistant Manager (Security) post the age limit is up to 45 years, relaxable up to 50 years for more qualified candidates.
For outsourcing staff currently working in this organisation, the age limit is relaxable up to 40 years for posts 10, 11, 12, 13 and 15.

Examination and Selection Process
Candidates are selected through a written examination and an oral examination.
A practical test is held only for specific technical posts such as the Auditor-cum-Computer Operator, the Office Assistant-cum-Computer Operator and the Driver posts, and only for candidates who pass the written examination.
For the computer operator posts the practical test is a standard aptitude test in which typing speed in Bengali and English is assessed.
For the Driver post the valid BRTA driving licence is verified and a practical driving test is held.
For the Machine Operator (Driver), Fitter and Pipe Fitter posts the practical evaluation covers the relevant technical machinery and trade skills.
For the Sub-Assistant Engineer (Production) post the evaluation covers the trade and practical matters related to the post.
