The Income Tax Intelligence and Investigation Unit (ITIIU), a revenue office working under the Internal Resources Division of the Ministry of Finance, Government of Bangladesh, has announced a fresh recruitment drive for 35 vacant posts. This ITIIU Job Circular 2026 covers three post categories in grades 13, 16 and 20, and the successful candidates will be appointed against revenue-backed vacant posts of the unit located at Rajswa Bhaban in Dhaka.

The recruitment notice was issued with Memo No 08.01.2622.533.000.11.0001.26.1451 dated 01 November 2026, and it invites genuine Bangladeshi citizens from every district of the country to apply online. Only online applications submitted through the Teletalk portal will be accepted, and the unit has advised applicants to complete the form and the examination fee payment well before the closing date and time.

Available Posts and Number of Vacancies

The unit is recruiting directly against 35 vacant posts of grades 13 to 20, and the pay structure for every post follows the Job (Pay and Allowances) Order, 2026. The category-wise vacancy position is given below.

Educational Qualification Requirements

Applicants must possess the academic qualification and the technical skills prescribed against their chosen post, and the typing and shorthand speeds are compulsory for the two computer-based posts.

Salary and Allowances

• Personal Assistant: Grade 13 with a pay scale of Tk 24,000 to Tk 58,000.

• Office Assistant-cum-Computer Typist: Grade 16 with a pay scale of Tk 21,900 to Tk 52,900.

• Office Assistant: Grade 20 with a pay scale of Tk 20,000 to Tk 48,800.

• The pay and allowances of all three posts are payable as per the Job (Pay and Allowances) Order, 2026.

Age Limit

The age of the applicants will be calculated as on 01 November 2026. Every candidate must be at least 18 years old and must not exceed 32 years of age on that date, and no affidavit is acceptable as proof of age. In this regard, the latest circular or instructions issued by the government will be followed, and candidates who are already employed in a government, semi-government or autonomous organization will not be given any age relaxation.

Job Location and Head Office

The head office of the Income Tax Intelligence and Investigation Unit is situated at Rajswa Bhaban, 11th Floor (Level-10), Agargaon, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka-1207. The unit has invited genuine Bangladeshi citizens of all districts of the country to compete for these revenue-backed posts.

Examination and Selection Process

• A written examination and an oral examination will be held for all posts.

• For the Personal Assistant and Office Assistant-cum-Computer Typist posts, only candidates who pass both the written and the practical examination will be considered eligible for the oral examination.

• For the Office Assistant post, candidates who pass the written examination will be considered eligible for the oral examination.

• No TA or DA will be paid for appearing in the written, practical or oral examination.

• Candidates eligible for the oral examination must produce attested photocopies of their certificates and one copy each of a recent passport-size photograph and a signature.

• The documents required at the oral examination include educational qualification certificates, experience certificates where applicable, a citizenship certificate attested by the Mayor, Councillor or Union Parishad Chairman of the permanent residence area, a disability certificate, an ethnic minority certificate, a freedom fighter quota certificate, a character certificate issued by a first class gazetted officer, a copy of the national identity card, and the printed Applicant's Copy and Admit Card of the online application.

• Finally selected candidates will have to submit a medical fitness certificate from the Civil Surgeon of the concerned district, and their past records will be verified through the proper agency.

Other Conditions for Applicants

• Candidates employed in a government, semi-government or autonomous organization must apply through the proper channel following the prevailing rules and must select the Departmental Candidate option while filling in the application form, and they must produce the original no-objection certificate at the time of the oral examination.

• A candidate who is not a citizen of Bangladesh, or who is married to a person who is not a citizen of Bangladesh, or who has promised to marry such a person, or who has been convicted by a court, will not be eligible to apply.

• A candidate may apply for one post only.

• Applicants must clearly mention the quota, if any, in the application form, and quota reservation will be maintained as per the rules of the government.

• The acquired highest educational qualification must be mentioned in the application form.

• An incomplete or defective application form will be treated as cancelled, and any kind of lobbying on behalf of a candidate will be considered a disqualification.

• The appointing authority reserves the right to amend or cancel the recruitment notice in part or in full.

• The appointing authority also reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacant posts mentioned in the notice.

How to Apply

Eligible candidates must fill in the online application form available at https://itiiu.teletalk.com.bd. No application other than the online application will be accepted, and the form must be submitted before the deadline.

• The online application form will be available from 03 November 2026 at 10:00 AM and must be submitted by 23 November 2026 at 05:00 PM.

• A recent colour photograph of 300 x 300 pixels, not exceeding 100 KB, and a signature of 300 x 80 pixels, not exceeding 60 KB, must be uploaded in the designated place of the application form.

• After successful submission, the candidate will receive a User ID along with an Applicant's Copy carrying the photograph and signature, and this copy should be printed and preserved for all subsequent purposes.

• The examination fee for posts 01 and 02 is Tk 100 plus Tk 12 as the Teletalk service charge, including VAT and non-refundable, making a total of Tk 112.

• The examination fee for post 03 is Tk 50 plus Tk 6 as the Teletalk service charge, including VAT and non-refundable, making a total of Tk 56.

• For candidates belonging to small ethnic groups, persons with disabilities and the third gender, the examination fee for all posts is Tk 50 plus Tk 6 as the Teletalk service charge, making a total of Tk 56.

• The fee must be deposited within 72 hours of submitting the online application form; otherwise the application will not be accepted in any circumstances.

• The fee is paid by SMS from any Teletalk prepaid mobile connection. In the first SMS, write ITIIU, then a space, then the User ID and send it to 16222. The reply will contain a PIN number.

• In the second SMS, write ITIIU, then a space, then YES, then a space, then the PIN number and send it to 16222. The reply will confirm the payment along with the User ID and Password.

• Candidates who forget their User ID may send ITIIU Help USER User ID to 16222, and those who forget their PIN Number may send ITIIU Help PIN PIN No to 16222 to recover the information.

• The Admit Card can be downloaded from the application portal, and the date, time and centre of the examination will be published on the official website of the unit and the online portal, and will also be intimated to eligible candidates by SMS.
