Job Responsibilities - Handle VAT, TDS, VDS, and AIT-related activities. - Maintain accurate documentation, prepare statutory returns, and coordinate with Internal Accounts Teams and External Tax Consultants. - Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns on time and assist with annual income tax filings and withholding tax returns. - Prepare monthly TDS challans and deposit TDS, VDS, and AIT deductions into the Government Treasury through proper challan and e-payment systems. - Organize financial documents, vouchers, and challans for internal and external audits. - Maintain updated Mushak documentation, purchase/sales invoices, and statutory compliance records. - Conduct monthly sales, bank, and general ledger tax balance reconciliations. - Coordinate with Internal Departments, External Tax Lawyers, and NBR authorities during tax assessments and audits. - Prepare and maintain mandatory VAT registers and all Mushak registers, including Mushak 6.3, 6.1, 6.2.1, 4.3, 6.6, 6.7, 6.8, 6.10, and 9.1. - Handle online VAT system submissions and other registers as per VAT Law. - Maintain knowledge of relevant VAT rates. - Assist in computing and processing TDS and VDS compliance. - Coordinate with internal departments and assist in communication with regulatory circles or tax authorities when required. - Maintain and operate NBR-enlisted VAT software. - Perform any other duties assigned by the Management. Requirements - Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting / Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA in Accounting) / Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. - 1 to 2 years of relevant experience. - Experience in the relevant business area will be preferred.
