Job Responsibilities: • Ensure all employees wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety guards, safety glasses, and other protective gear according to workstation requirements. • Monitor and enforce safe work practices, including the prohibition of loose clothing and jewellery around machinery. • Ensure employees working near moving machinery properly secure long hair to prevent accidents. • Ensure all tools and equipment are used correctly and stored in designated locations. • Monitor machinery, tools, and equipment to ensure they remain clean, safe, and in good working condition; report any defects immediately to the Maintenance Department. • Verify that operating manuals and safety instructions for all machinery are readily available and accessible. • Ensure machinery and equipment are properly shut down when not in use. • Monitor and ensure all machinery is equipped with manufacturer-installed safety guards and protective devices. • Prevent unauthorized modifications to machinery by untrained personnel. • Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and free from hazards. • Monitor ventilation and workplace environmental conditions throughout the factory. • Conduct regular product safety and workplace risk assessments. • Organize and deliver safety awareness and product safety training programs for employees. • Conduct monthly internal safety and compliance audits. • Coordinate and participate in external audits conducted by buyers, customers, or third-party auditors. • Prepare audit reports and monitor corrective action plans. • Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time. Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (relevant educational background will be preferred). • Proven experience as a Product Safety Officer (PSO) or in a similar role. • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. • Good knowledge of compliance management systems and buyer requirements. • Expertise in risk assessmen
