Job Responsibilities: * Oversee the end-to-end flow of raw materials, production scheduling, and finished textile distribution to ensure smooth and cost-effective factory operations. * Procure raw materials such as raw cotton, synthetic staple fibers, and polyester. * Negotiate supplier contracts, evaluate vendor quality, and maintain long-term supplier relationships. * Manage inventory levels of raw fibers, work-in-progress (WIP) yarn, and finished fabrics to minimize holding costs. * Monitor and minimize fiber waste and material loss during opening, carding, spinning, and dyeing processes. * Maintain knowledge of natural fibers such as cotton, wool, and silk, as well as synthetic fibers such as polyester and nylon. * Understand the process of converting raw fibers into usable yarn or thread. Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. * Relevant experience in textile manufacturing, raw material procurement, production planning, or supply chain management. * Strong knowledge of textile raw materials, fibers, yarn, and fabric production processes. * Good understanding of spinning, carding, opening, and dyeing processes. * Strong negotiation and supplier management skills. * Ability to monitor inventory levels and control material costs. * Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. * Strong communication and coordination skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. * Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines. * Knowledge of ERP or inventory management systems will be an advantage.
