Key Responsibilities: • Product Sourcing & Follow-up: Manage product sourcing and ensure rigorous order follow-up to meet brand standards. • Coordination: Act as the primary link between suppliers and production teams to ensure smooth operations. • Logistics Monitoring: Closely monitor stock levels, delivery schedules, and overall production timelines. • Communication: Handle professional correspondence with clients and vendors. • Costing & Negotiation: Analyze fabric and trim costs to ensure competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards. • Sample Development: Oversee the entire sampling process (Proto, Fit, and Salesman samples) to ensure they meet buyer specifications before bulk production. • Quality Control Oversight: Work closely with the QA team to ensure the final product meets the brand’s quality benchmarks. • Market Trend Analysis: Stay updated on current fashion trends and material innovations to suggest new product directions. • Risk Management: Identify potential production bottlenecks early and develop contingency plans to ensure on-time delivery. Qualifications & Requirements: • Educational Background: Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textiles, or a related field. Business backgrounds with relevant experience are also highly welcomed. • Experience: 2–4 years of experience in a similar role within the garment or fashion industry. • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel (for tracking sheets) and familiarity with ERP software. • Communication: Strong command of English and Bengali for professional correspondence with international clients and local factory owners.
