Salary and Grade

The posts in this recruitment range from the 13th grade to the 20th grade. Examination Stages

Written and oral examinations will be held for all the posts. However, the examination process differs by post, as described below.

Candidates who pass the written examination, where applicable, will be eligible for the practical examination, and candidates who pass the practical examination will be eligible for the oral examination. The written, practical and oral examinations will be held at the date and time fixed by the Taxes Zone-9, Dhaka office, and the schedule will be announced through SMS to the candidate's mobile number and on the website at www.taxeszone9dhaka.gov.bd. No TA or DA will be paid to candidates for taking part in the written, practical or oral examination.

Who Should Apply for These Positions

This recruitment covers a wide range of posts, from graduate-level positions in the 13th and 14th grades to SSC-level posts in the 16th and 20th grades, so candidates with different levels of qualification have an opportunity to apply. The posts of Shorthand Lipika cum Computer Operator, Upper Division Assistant and Stenographer cum Computer Operator, which together account for 19 of the 38 vacancies, are intended for graduates with a second class or an equivalent CGPA and require specific shorthand and typing speeds, and they carry the highest grades and pay scales in the notice. How to Apply

Applications must be submitted online through the Teletalk portal. The steps are given below.

• Fill in the application form at tax9.teletalk.com.bd.

• Scan and upload your signature measuring 300 x 80 pixels and a colour photograph measuring 300 x 300 pixels. The photograph must not exceed 100 KB and the signature must not exceed 60 KB.

• Verify all the information carefully before submitting the application, as no change, amendment or modification will be accepted after the fee has been paid.

• After successful submission, note down the User ID received and download the Applicant's Copy containing the colour photograph, signature and all information as a PDF, and preserve a colour print of it.

• Pay the prescribed examination fee by SMS from any Teletalk pre-paid mobile number within 72 hours of submitting the online application.

• Bring a print copy of the Applicant's Copy to the oral examination.

The online application will not be accepted in any way until the examination fee has been paid. A candidate may not apply for more than one post, and an incomplete, incorrect or late application will be treated as cancelled.

Application Fee

The fee is not refundable and must be paid within 72 hours of submitting the application.

SMS Procedure for Fee Payment

In reply to the first SMS, the candidate will receive a message stating the applicable fee and a PIN number, and the fee must then be paid by sending the second SMS in the prescribed format.

If the User ID or password is forgotten, it can be recovered by sending an SMS from a Teletalk pre-paid mobile number. If the User ID is known, send TAX9, space, Help, space, User, space and the User ID to 16222, for example TAX9 Help User ABCDEF. If the PIN number is known, send TAX9, space, Help, space, PIN, space and the PIN number to 16222, for example TAX9 Help PIN 12345678.

Admit Card

Eligible candidates will be informed of the date for downloading the admit card by SMS to the mobile number given in the online application, and the admit card can also be downloaded from tax9.teletalk.com.bd or from the Taxes Zone-9 website at www.taxeszone9dhaka.gov.bd. Candidates must keep the mobile number given in the application active at all times, as all information regarding the examination will be sent to that number by SMS.

Using the User ID and password sent by SMS, the candidate must download the admit card containing the roll number, the name of the post, the photograph, and the date, time and venue of the examination, print it, and produce it at the written examination, the practical examination and the oral examination.

Documents Required at the Oral Examination

• Attested photocopies, certified by a first class gazetted officer with the officer's name and designation mentioned, of all educational qualification certificates, and of the experience certificate, if any.

• A permanent resident certificate, where applicable, showing that the candidate has completed education in the concerned district.

• A citizenship certificate issued by the Chairman of the Union Parishad, the Pourashava Mayor or a Councillor, for district-related purposes.

• An appropriate certificate issued by the proper authority in accordance with government rules for physically disabled and third gender candidates.

• An appropriate certificate issued by the proper authority in accordance with government rules for candidates of small ethnic groups.

• For the freedom fighter quota, the freedom fighter certificate, duly attested by the proper authority.

• A character certificate issued by a first class gazetted officer.

• The original National Identity Card or birth registration certificate.

• A colour print of the online application form (Applicant's Copy) and of the admit card.

Important Conditions for Applicants

• A candidate must be a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 32 years of age as on 01 November 2026, and an affidavit is not acceptable in any case for age verification.

• Candidates employed in a government, semi-government or autonomous organisation must apply through the proper authority within the prescribed time and must select the "Departmental Candidate" option while filling in the application form.

• If it is proved at any stage before or after the appointment that false information has been given, the candidature will be cancelled and legal action will be taken against the candidate.

• If a candidate applies against a quota, the quota must be clearly mentioned in the application, otherwise the application will be considered against the general quota.

• A candidate who is not a citizen of Bangladesh, or who marries a person who is not a citizen of Bangladesh and is not committed to allegiance to Bangladesh, will not be eligible to apply unless permission is granted by the government.

• If any of the required documents is not submitted at the time of the oral examination, the application will be treated as cancelled.

• Finally selected candidates must submit the required documents to the Civil Surgeon of the concerned district for verification, and their past career will be verified through the proper channel.

• The authority reserves the right to amend or change all or part of the notice, and to increase or decrease the number of posts mentioned in the notice.

• The decision of the appointing authority on any matter relating to the online application and the recruitment examination will be final.
