Job Details
• Manage all formalities at the shipping office for mother vessel operations.
• Coordinate seaport immigration procedures for vessel arrival and departure.
• Oversee customs clearance activities, including handling gate sergeant and gate customs procedures.
• Receive crew from airport and assist in sign-on/sign-off formalities, including crew repatriation and adjoining crew handling.
• Ensure accurate documentation and signing of crew forms in compliance with port and immigration laws.
• Handle mother vessel posting and booking of custom officers and ARO in advance of arrival.
• Supervise inward and outward clearance formalities, including port health and anchorage receiving (outer and Untaped).
• Attend vessel inspections with base officers and submit final documentation to customs, including Line-2 submission.
• Secure NOC clearance from the Mercantile Marine Department, income tax, and port authorities.
• Facilitate import/export cargo clearance procedures, port NOC collection, and port clearance from the customs house.
• Ensure proper handover of SOF (Statement of Facts) and port clearance documents to the vessel master.
• Process and collect necessary operational certificates and submit EGM to customs and port filter departments.
• Ensure compliance with all port regulations, maintaining strong communication with relevant stakeholders to avoid delays.
• Maintain accurate records of all port formalities and ensure timely completion of required documentation.
