Position Gastroenterology and Medicine Specialist Employment Status Part Time or Full Time Duty Time Corporate 08 hours duty Weekly 06 days Friday Off Job Location 56/1 Baitul View Tower, Level 9 A, Purana Paltan, Dhaka 1000 Opposite of Baitul Mukarram Uttar Gate Educational Qualification MBBS from a recognized medical college or university FCPS or MD in Medicine or equivalent postgraduate qualification Additional training or qualification in Gastroenterology will be highly preferred Valid BMDC registration is mandatory Experience Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant clinical experience preferred Candidates with experience in Gastroenterology, Internal Medicine and management of gastrointestinal disorders will be given preference Fresh postgraduate candidates with excellent clinical knowledge may also be considered Job Responsibilities Provide consultation, diagnosis and appropriate treatment for patients with gastrointestinal and general medical conditions Evaluate and manage GI disorders including gastritis, GERD, peptic ulcer disease, IBS, fatty liver disease, hepatitis, constipation, diarrhea and other digestive disorders Assess chronic liver and gastrointestinal patients and provide follow up care Review laboratory, imaging and diagnostic reports and prepare treatment plans Maintain accurate patient records and proper follow up Provide professional, ethical and patient centered medical advice Coordinate with other healthcare professionals for referral or multidisciplinary management when required Maintain professional standards, patient confidentiality and healthcare protocols Required Skills Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Good knowledge of Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine Excellent communication and patient counseling skills Ability to work professionally in a corporate healthcare environment Compassionate, responsible and patient oriented attitude Good teamwork and interpersonal skills Commitment to ethical medical practice
