Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented General Manager for the Sweater Division. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing overall sweater production operations, ensuring quality, productivity, cost control, shipment timelines, and smooth coordination across all departments. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage overall sweater factory operations Ensure production planning, execution, and shipment are completed on time Monitor daily production output, efficiency, quality, and wastage Coordinate with merchandising, planning, knitting, linking, trimming, washing, finishing, quality, maintenance, store, and commercial teams Ensure buyer requirements, product specifications, and quality standards are properly followed Review production plans and take necessary actions to achieve targets Control production cost, material consumption, manpower utilization, and operational efficiency Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and labor laws Monitor sample development, pre-production activities, and bulk production progress Ensure proper machine utilization and maintenance coordination Lead, guide, and develop department heads, supervisors, and production teams Maintain strong communication with buyers, management, and internal stakeholders Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly production reports Drive continuous improvement, productivity improvement, and waste reduction initiatives Ensure timely delivery of quality products as per shipment schedule Perform any other duties assigned by the management
