Job Responsibilities: • Full Technical Deployment: Set up and configure Traccar GPS tracking platform on Linux KVM VPS • Infrastructure Configuration: Implement domain setup, SSL certificates, and secure server configurations • Database Management: Configure and optimize PostgreSQL or MySQL database for high-performance tracking data storage • Containerization: Deploy and manage services using Docker for consistent production environments • Server Optimization: Implement Nginx configurations for load balancing, reverse proxying, and SSL termination • GPS Device Integration: Verify connectivity and protocol compatibility with various GPS tracking devices • End-to-End Testing: Conduct comprehensive system testing to ensure platform reliability and performance • Security Implementation: Ensure server hardening and implement security best practices Requirements: • Strong Linux Administration: Expert-level Linux server management and troubleshooting • Docker & Containerization: Extensive hands-on experience with Docker and container deployment • Java Environment: Proficiency in Java application deployment and optimization • Nginx Configuration: Deep knowledge of Nginx setup for web serving and reverse proxying • Database Expertise: PostgreSQL or MySQL database setup, configuration, and optimization • Network Protocols: Understanding of TCP/UDP protocols for GPS device communication • Previous experience with GPS tracking systems (Tracer preferred) • Familiarity with geospatial data processing • Experience with IoT device connectivity and protocols • Knowledge of SSL certificate implementation and management • Server performance monitoring and optimization
