Responsibilities: • Clean and sanitize patient rooms, wards, cabins, corridors, waiting areas, reception areas, and other designated spaces. • Maintain the cleanliness of washrooms, toilets, sinks, floors, doors, windows, and other hospital facilities. • Clean designated areas of the Emergency Department, Outpatient Department (OPD), diagnostic rooms, and other clinical areas according to hospital protocols. • Collect, segregate, and dispose of general waste and healthcare waste in accordance with hospital waste-management procedures. • Follow established Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) guidelines while cleaning hospital premises. • Use cleaning materials, disinfectants, equipment, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) safely and appropriately. • Refill soap, handwash, tissue paper, and other hygiene supplies as required. • Immediately report spills, damaged equipment, blocked drains, unpleasant odors, or other sanitation-related problems to the supervisor.
