Job Responsibilities:
• Clean and maintain classrooms, therapy rooms, offices, washrooms, corridors, common areas, and other assigned spaces.
• Ensure all areas remain clean, hygienic, organized, and free from hazards.
• Regularly clean and sanitize floors, furniture, doors, windows, high-touch surfaces, and other areas as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in children's activity, learning, and play areas.
• Clean and maintain washrooms and ensure proper hygiene standards are maintained.
• Properly collect, segregate, and dispose of waste according to organizational procedures.
• Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies when required.
• Assist in preparing and cleaning rooms before and after classes, activities, and therapy sessions.
• Immediately report spills, damage, safety hazards, maintenance issues, or other concerns to the supervisor.
• Use cleaning equipment, tools, and materials safely and appropriately.
• Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and cleaning procedures.
• Ensure cleaning materials and equipment are stored safely after use.
• Support the administration team with other housekeeping-related duties when required.
• Maintain a respectful, caring, and professional attitude toward children, staff, parents, and visitors.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
Requirements:
• Minimum SSC qualification.
• Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, hospitality, school, hospital, or a similar environment will be an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation.
• Responsible, punctual, hardworking, and trustworthy.
• Physically capable of performing regular cleaning and housekeeping duties.
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
• Ability to work respectfully and patiently in a special needs school environment.
• Good personal hygiene and a neat, clean appearance.
• Ability to work independently as well as as part of a team.
• Willingness to support the overall cleanlin
