Job Responsibilities: • Examine patients, assess symptoms, and diagnose medical conditions. • Prescribe appropriate medicines and provide treatment according to established medical guidelines. • Provide emergency medical care and stabilize critical patients. • Refer patients to specialist doctors when necessary. • Maintain accurate patient medical records, prescriptions, and treatment reports. • Monitor patients’ health conditions and evaluate treatment progress. • Advise patients on preventive healthcare, hygiene, nutrition, and healthy lifestyles. • Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic investigations. • Coordinate with nurses, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care. • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, medical ethics, and patient safety standards. • Participate in ward rounds, outpatient services, and inpatient care as assigned. • Maintain the confidentiality of patient information. • Respond to medical emergencies and participate in on-call duties when required. • Prepare medical reports, certificates, prescriptions, and other necessary documentation. • Support infection prevention, quality improvement, and hospital healthcare standards. Educational Qualifications: • Must have an MBBS degree from a recognized medical college. • Must have valid registration with the Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council (BMDC). Required Skills: • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work responsibly in a team and handle medical emergencies. • Commitment to patient safety, professional ethics, and confidentiality.
